2016 Amnesia Exhibition at Hong Kong Center for Visual Arts
In 2016, the Hong Kong Center for the Visual Arts hosted the Amnesia Exhibition, a contemporary art exhibition exploring the connections between memory and identity. The exhibition’s works span a variety of art forms, including visual art, image installations and interactive media, aiming to reflect on the process of loss and reconstruction of personal memory. Through their creations, the exhibiting artists explore how modern people deal with memory fragmentation and forgetting in a rapidly changing social and technological environment. This exhibition not only touches on profound issues at the emotional and psychological level of human beings, but also provides a space for viewers to think about the relationship between the self and society.
